Warren County’s middle school to undergo refurbishment

Published: 10-Mar-2010

The Warren County School in Ohio, US, is slated to undergo a renovation of its facility, worth $361,501.

The renovation project is slated to bring about necessary changes in the furnishings. The $361,501 bid for the new middle school facility had been awarded to the Virginia School Equipment company by the school board.

The bid covers a total furnishing of the school, which includes student and teacher desks and cafeteria tables. The school’s assistant superintendent stated that a separate bid had been awarded to the Wenger Corporation for the band room furniture.

The school has also been considering the reuse of some of furniture in the county's current middle school building, which has a 35-year-old collection of furniture.

The school officials said that once the renovations are complete, the former Warren County High School would reopen as a middle school for the 2010-11 school year.
