Among the various features of the revamped centre are an expanded dining hall, servery, new café, art store, bookstore, student art gallery, student organization facilities, Student Development offices, Career Services, and Health and Counseling unit.
The design of the renovated building offers optimum natural light penetration in its dining hall, student development offices as well as in the remodelled basement. The building has made extensive use of reclaimed materials such as gypsum wall board, acoustical ceiling tiles, large-format porcelain tile as well as glass wall tile. The facility has also retained 51% of its current materials. It has also utilised recycled and fast renewable formaldehyde free materials including sorghum straw panel board and reclaimed paper countertops.
