Construction begins on Broadway Malyan-designed learning centre for BP

Published: 30-Jan-2013

Construction work has begun on BP’s new Upstream Learning Centre, designed by global architecture, urbanism and design practice Broadway Malyan, in Sunbury, UK.

Spanning over 4,000 square metres, the new Learning Centre will include classrooms and informal settings. It has been laid out around a large double height collaborative space which is designed to connect into the wider campus and foster open interaction and informal learning among BP’s employees.

The centre will be located at BP’s International Centre for Business and Technology in Sunbury and would be built by BAM Construct.

Broadway Malyan has designed other offices for BP in the UK over a 20 year period, including the regeneration of the 45,000 square metre Sunbury campus, a new Link Building on the same site, as well as the fit out of BP’s Stockley Park offices near Heathrow.
